The 150BM<\/strong> is an in-line vane-motor air starter with a standard caged nose. A vane starter is a simple, rugged and reliable solution for mid-size diesel and gas engines (diesel approx. 8\u201370 litres) in marine, oil & gas, off-highway and power generation. 3BM and 5BM<\/strong> are smaller and larger vane starters from the same family.<\/p>\n The orientation code at the end of the model number (e.g. -02FJ<\/strong>, -2N<\/strong> or -POS<\/strong>) only defines the inlet, exhaust, drive housing and flange positions on the engine.
