Ingersoll Rand QXF Series – USB-Programmable Precision Screwdrivers

Ingersoll Rand QXF Series – Transducer Precision Without Network Complexity

Ingersoll Rand QXF Series™ cordless precision tools are purpose-built for industrial assembly lines that require uncompromising torque control and maximum stability, but without the need or capability to connect devices to plant Wi-Fi or radio networks. This is an autonomous (stand-alone) “plug-and-play” solution covering a torque range from 0.8 to 80 Nm.

Why Choose the Autonomous QXF Platform?

The QXF Series delivers true closed-loop control by monitoring torque, angle, and rotational speed simultaneously. Because the tool operates completely independently of data communication networks, it remains immune to electromagnetic interference and fits perfectly into secure, quality-critical environments.

IT-Independent & Instant

The tool functions fully on its own and requires no IT infrastructure support, servers, or complex network pairing protocols.

Flexible User Interface

Available in premium configurations with an integrated LCD display, or as highly cost-effective versions with clear LED indicators.

Ergonomic ETS Support

Compatible with the Ergonomic Tightening System (ETS) module, which absorbs and softens the reaction force felt by the operator by up to 63%.

Lowest Cost of Ownership

Unmatched TCO – there are absolutely no software licensing fees or requirements to purchase expensive external hardware controllers.

QXF Series Capabilities and Model Range

  • Kompakt Pistol & Inline Models: Lightweight, fast, and ergonomic tools available in straight and pistol grip configurations for torque targets up to 24 Nm.
  • Powerful Angle Wrenches: Optimized for tight tolerances and hard-to-reach joints, offering reliable industrial performance up to 80 Nm.
  • Data Logging & Profiles: Each tool stores data for up to 1200 tightening cycles locally and supports up to 32 independent fastening profiles (PSETs).
  • Streamlined USB Setup: Modification of parameters is handled quickly via USB cable directly from a PC or smart device using the free INSIGHT Connect software suite.

Primary Fields of Application

  • Precision assembly of electronics, household appliances, and delicate medical or fine mechanical products.
  • Automotive sub-assembly and specialized stand-alone work cells (Tier 1 & Tier 2 suppliers).
  • Quality-critical assembly lines where wireless radio frequencies (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth) are restricted, banned, or highly congested.
  • Assembly of electrical enclosures, switchgears, control panels, and industrial components.

Note and ProTech Expertise: We guarantee complete process validation, calibration services, and tailored configuration support for Ingersoll Rand QXF equipment throughout the Nordic and Baltic regions. Unlike other industrial assembly lines on the market (such as Atlas Copco, Bosch Rexroth, or Desoutter), where a comparable precision class typically mandates ongoing software licensing fees or specialized hardware controllers, the QXF offers complete closed-loop transducer control without hidden downstream system costs.
