The Ingersoll Rand 241A1M air backfill tamper is a rugged and efficient tool for foundry work and demanding soil compaction. Delivering 1590 BPM with a 102 mm stroke and 33 mm cylinder, it ensures even and dense compaction of molding sand or soil. A weight of 12.2 kg, length of 1340 mm and a wide 76 mm (3″) shoe allow comfortable upright operation without excess fatigue. An efficient front seal system keeps abrasive dust out of the mechanism, ensuring reliability at 6.2 bar working pressure and 821 l/min air consumption.
