ST900 Series turbine air starters are compact, lightweight and powerful – for applications where reliable starting in demanding environments and precise configuration are essential.
The ST900 Series is built on an advanced turbine design driven by compressed air or natural gas. Turbine technology provides smooth engagement, reduces mechanical wear on moving parts and gives a rugged construction that withstands severe vibration and harsh conditions.
The ST900 Series is an ideal choice for heavy-duty applications in marine, industry and energy. Thanks to its flexible design, the housings and inlet flanges can be rotated to various angles, making installation in tight spaces straightforward. A built-in rear hex for barring over also simplifies manual maintenance and engine inspection.
Configurable starting platform: the ST900 Series can be adapted to specific system requirements by selecting gear ratio (2.18:1, 2.53:1 or 3.44:1), rotation direction and robust mounting options. Gear ratio B is available with inertia or pre-engaged drive, gear ratio C with pre-engaged drive.
