Ingersoll Rand SS815FGB03R31-32N is an SS800 series pre-engaged vane air starter for starting diesel and gas engines in marine, power generation, oil & gas and off-highway applications. Sealed for operation on compressed air or natural gas. Power up to 45 hp (34 kW) and breakaway torque 230 Nm at 6.2 bar.
Orientation -32N: position code 32N. The orientation only defines how the starter sits on the engine (inlet, exhaust and drive housing positions). The starter itself is the same as other SS815FGB03R31 variants – choose the one that fits your engine installation, or ask us.

Positions per the Ingersoll Rand installation manual: inlet and exhaust 4 × 90°, drive housing 16 × 22.5°. The drive housing letter shows the position of the control ports (reference hole on inertia models). Always check against your engine installation drawing.
